We’re Mansi and Dhara, sisters-in-law turned business partners and co-founders of Chukee’s! Our story started in the most unexpected, but relatable way… by bonding over pints of ice cream. Every week, without fail, we’d find ourselves digging into a new flavor, sharing laughs, stories, and a growing love of ice cream that went beyond just dessert. It became a ritual, a comfort, and ultimately the spark behind Chukee’s!

An online ice cream recipe led to the purchase of a small ice cream machine, which is when our experimenting of flavors began! Together we crafted both nostalgic Indian and American flavors that we served to our friends and family! With every batch, we discovered just how much joy ice cream brings to people’s lives, and we knew we had to share that feeling on a larger scale!

Chukee’s is more than just a scoop of ice cream, it’s a celebration of family, connection, and the little moments that bring people together. Our name, “Chukee,” comes from the nickname my mom gave me, Mansi, when I was little. In our native language, it means “little bird,” a symbol of sweetness, joy, and lighthearted fun that we carry into every batch we make.
